Specialist Plant Fair at The Garden House
Posted:27 May 2018
What a summer we’re having here at The Garden House! Our Artists Open House during May has been very successful, bringing people into the garden not only to view work, but also to enjoy quietly wandering in the garden, finding surprises and plant joy at every turn, or settling in a quiet corner and relaxing with a cup of tea.
Next on the agenda is our Specialist Plant Fair – Saturday 2 June, 11am to 5pm this is a must see event, even if you have visited recently!
June is an ideal time for buying and planting out new and exciting plants in your garden and our invited local nurseries and expert plants growers will not disappoint! They will have selections of rare and unusual herbaceous perennials, alliums, annuals, vegetable plants, summer bedding and pot plants. Also some very fine succulents and drought-tolerant plants.
Always a treat will be Iain Swain’s selection of beautifully restored garden tools, Black & Green’s metal plant supports and stakes (so useful!), and The French Barn’s paraphernalia and collectible items.
Come for tea/coffee, cakes or a delicious lunch. We look forward to seeing you. Saturday 2 June, 11am to 5pm. Entrance is £2.50 per person, children free.
Venue: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
