Celebrate the festive season with the Garden House
Posted:11 December 2016
The Garden House is holding a festive celebration – Thursday 15 December 2.30 7.00pm. We will have an eclectic mix of gifts (by local makers), vouchers for our courses and trips (which make great presents), and plants, plus mulled cider and stollen.
Plants for sale include winter glories such as Cornus, Skimmia, Sarcococca, Hellebores, Cyclamen, Amaryllis and indoor and outdoor bulbs! Plus birch twigs.
Entrance is free and our wonderful Garden Room will be looking suitably festive. There’ll be mulled wine and nibbles, and Carol Singing at 6pm.
Looking forward to welcoming you to The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
And thinking of winter, don’t forget to book on our Garden House visit to the wonderful winter gardens at RHS Wisley – Wednesday 22 February, CLICK HERE for more info and to book.
We have organised a tour with Linda Dolan, a Garden House friend and Wisley guide, who will take us round the Winter Garden and point out the highlights. Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape, looking at groups of dogwood, willow and whitewashed bramble, coloured tree barks and many different types of bulb and ground cover plants, plus relish the delights of winter flowering shrubs such as Viburnum, Mahonia, Sarcococca and Chimonanthus…
There will be free time as well for lunch, shopping and general wandering!
The cost will be £35 per person for RHS members (plus an extra £14.50 to be paid on the day for non RHS members), and we’ll be leaving Brighton (from The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT) by coach at 9.30 returning by 4.30pm.
