Edible Plants: a New Book by Geoff Dann
Posted:28 September 2021
Garden House favourite, Geoff Dann, will be launching his new book in January 2022 – Edible Plants: A forager’s guide to the wild plants and seaweeds of Britain, Ireland and temperate Europe. We’re really looking forward to it, and will be first in line for a signed copy!
Geoff is a foraging teacher and writer currently based in Hastings, but planning a move west next year. He started as a fungi specialist, but has now spent many years teaching groups of people to forage for plants and seaweeds as well. In 2016 he published his first book – the most comprehensive book available at the time on British and northern European fungi foraging.
Over the years Geoff has given several talks at The Garden House on forging mushrooms which we and our guests have greatly enjoyed. As an organic garden happily placed in Brighton between the South Downs and the coast, we are fascinated by the concept of foraging for plants, fungi and seaweeds.
