Knowing how much we all love to visit and be inspired by other people’s gardens, we have been busy arranging some exciting private garden visits – a real treat for a summer’s day out!
Join us at Town Place Garden (near Haywards Heath, East Sussex), a 3-acre private garden set around a 17th century Sussex farmhouse where we will enjoy an introductory talk by the owners, Barley and Maggie McGrath.
This beautifully planted garden is brimming with ideas to borrow. It boasts over 600 roses, beautifully coordinated herbaceous borders, a herb garden, topiary inspired by the sculptures of Henry Moore, ornamental grasses, an 800 year old oak, potager, and a unique ‘ruined’ Priory Church and Cloisters.
