We are delighted to invite Tom Brown, Head Gardener at West Dean Gardens and former Head Gardener at Parham Gardens, to the Garden House for a sparkling evening, talking plants and gardens! Tom will talk about the transition he has made between these two major gardens; focussing on some of the great plants, planting schemes and projects at Parham plus his future plans for West Dean. He will also highlight some of the plants mentioned in his Gardens Illustrated Plantsman’s column last year.
Prior to working at Parham Tom worked at RHS Wisley Gardens for 10 years, latterly running the plant and vegetable trials. He is a regular contributor on BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey, a member of the RHS Herbaceous Committee and an RHS Show Judge.
This evening event will include supper and a glass of wine and will be limited to 16 people. It will be an informal session where people will be able to ask questions in a relaxed and friendly environment
