Enjoy a morning of slow-stitching at the Garden House. Join stitch tutor Marilyn Willis for our morning workshop learning to repair or mend a garment, using a range of stitch techniques which can be used as a decorative effect to embellish or visibly repair a garment depending on thread colours and types of threads used.
Bring along a garment you would like to work on. Marilyn have a selection of threads, but if you have some you’d like to use please bring them along too! Marilyn will advise you on the day, but the best fabrics to repair or embellish are natural fibres ie cotton, linen or wool.

**COVID update: As the Garden House studio is a relatively small space and for the safety of all, we have reduced the number of participants in our workshops. We would also prefer participants to have had double/triple vaccinations, or to have taken a Lateral Flow Test before joining the group (we have some available if needed). Thank you for your understanding.
