Inspiring Dublin Gardens
Posted:28 June 2015
A trip with the Garden House is never short of inspiration, friendship, laughter, delicious food and special treats – and our recent visit to the gardens of Dublin was no exception.
Over four days we visited eight very different gardens, each with it’s own story and all owned by passionate gardeners and plantsmen and women eager to share tips, name that plant, discuss habits and preferred soils – even to give precious cuttings! Much discussion ensued as to how best to transport said cuttings and small plants through customs back to the UK (no problem at all as it turned out!).
We also cooked our own vegetarian supper one evening at The Dublin Cookery School – a very impressive set up, great chef and helpers, terrific fun – and delicious food!
Just a few of the many hundreds of photos taken are below – enjoy…
